BB Dakota was the top selling dress brand at Nordstrom that no one had ever heard of. Their website was clunky, unappealing and in dire need of a complete redesign. TOST was brought in to partner with BASIC AGENCY to realize the future of BB Dakota, from a wildly successful wholesale-focused apparel line to a consumer-facing lifestyle brand bubbling with irreverent personality.

SOLUTION

TOST consulted to build a new, robust, award-winning Shopify website bursting with cool content to increase brand engagement, awareness, value and trust. Five years later, the brand was acquired by American fashion giant, Steve Madden. TOST played a strategic role in adding brand value and cache though its boundary pushing brand content and e-commerce consulting success. TOST is recognized for our role in creative direction and brand content with an Awwward for Website of The Day and nomination for Website Content of The Year for BB Dakota.
